RMS ST HELENA IN PICTURES 2 | Darrin Henry
It’s time to take another peek through the Picture Porthole for more photographs of the RMS St Helena at sea. A few months ago our first Picture Porthole featured seven random images taken onboard the good ship.
We have already posted a more detailed story about a voyage on the RMS, which you can read here, as well as the Top Ten Highlights of RMS St Helena, Part 1 and Part 2. Do check them out when you have a moment.
But once again, this is just about enjoying the pictures, and for those of us who have sailed on the island’s ship, no doubt these might trigger some pleasant memories. Enjoy!
1 One of the ship’s Pursers, Sharon is always ready with a big smile for passengers.
2 The ship’s brass plate on ‘A’ Deck, reminding us it was Prince Andrew who launched the vessel in 1989.

4 The tempting breakfast menu.
5 Dinner conversation in full flow at the Captain’s table.
6 Bags placed outside cabin doors early, ready for landing.
7 A sunny arrival in South Africa, everyone trying to catch a glimpse of Cape Town from the windy bridge wing.
That’s it.

The old girl is looking very good.
Really lovely seeing pictures of the Island again.
Thanks Neville. We’ll always have pictures and stories from St Helena so keep checking back. Always nice to see your comments. Cheers
