A PHOTO TOUR FROM THE HARD DRIVE | Darrin Henry

Right place, right time, applies with photography a lot, especially when we’re out and about with the camera snapping St Helena pictures. We often end up capturing something unexpected and totally random, simply because we just happened to be there and the light was right.

We’ve been more active this year (2016) than normal, all because of Project 366, resulting in a hard drive full of weird and wonderful images from across the island.

“In no particular order…” as they say, here are 12 pictures of St Helena, a little quirky photographic tour around the island, just for fun.

Great photos! It’s hard to encapsulate such a magical place in twelve photos, but nicely done. It makes us very nostalgic, since we were on the RMS back to Cape Town a year ago today. We very much enjoyed our 8 day visit and wish we could have spent more time on your lovely isle.

Thanks guys. Yes, you’re right, 12 photos is tough! The choosing has been going on for weeks can you believe. Think we’ll do more of these collections as there are so many great pictures hiding away on the drives! Thanks for the comment, bet you didn’t think a year ago the RMS would still be in service today? Cheers 🙂

Beautiful place, and I hear there are no snakes in Saint Helena. If that’s true, that would be paradise. I hate snakes.

You and Indiana Jones would love it here, Larry 🙂 No snakes. Cheers
