BEAUTIFUL ST HELENA IN PICTURES

So much has happened since our St Helena Day Picture Special last year (2015) – the first flights have landed at the brand new airport, the island’s first female governor has arrived and Kimley Yon has just become the new Miss St Helena.

We have also released our second ‘Breeze’ e-magazine. Another 66 page publication, full of photo-stories from both St Helena and from guest photographers/writers around the world. Breeze is free to all subscribers of our blog.

Even though this is only What The Saints Did Next’s second year, it feels like tradition already that we should do another picture post to celebrate St Helena Day, 21 May. This year, 2016, we have put together a collection of 16 images from this beautiful island that Portuguese sailer João da Nova was the first to stumble across on this day in 1502.

Happy St Helena Day, 2016.
